Presenting Contemporary Artist - " Darrell Knigge "

A trained and experienced Draftsman, Darrell has been creating drawings professionally since 1985. Darrell returned to the drawing board in 1997 to create fine art through pencil, pen, and watercolor mediums. Drawing and painting compositions are inspired through settings of nature, landscape, still life, figures, and technical subjects.

Darrell's background includes technical and liberal arts education. His most recent degree is in Applied Science. Darrell's skill set includes casting, structural, and weldment designing; sculpting, drawing, and watercolor painting.

Darrell has had juried exhibitions in the Scarborough-Phillips Gallery at St. Edwards University. Awards include Juror's Choice Awards in Watercolor and Drawing. Darrell published his drawings — "Vise in the Moonlight" and "Print Room" in the Aesthetic Voice print publication. Darrell has been the Online Publicity Manager for Artist Resource website since 1997.

Darrell has experienced a variety of industries. He has worked as a designer of paper product machinery, water systems, and ice cream novelty machinery. Recent experiences include metal work in a bronze art foundry and process design for manufacturing.
