SUMMARY An experienced Draftsman, Darrell has been creating drawings professionally since 1985. After 12 years of computer aided drawing he returned to the drawing board in 1997 creating fine art and draftsmanship through pencil, pen, and watercolor.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Engineering Design/CAD Manager at Aerobox Composite Structures, Albuquerque, NM. (January 2002 to July 2002 - April 2003 - present). Design and manage engineering for air cargo container manufacturer. Engineering Document Control responsible for the flow of information into and through engineering. Supervision of drafting personnel utilizing SolidWorks 2001 and AutoCAD 2000 software. Responsible for CAD file maintenance and archive. Responsible for all engineering document systems and the flow of information.
Metal Shop Finisher at Shidoni Foundry, Tesuque, NM. (November 2002 to April 2003). Finish fine art sculpture for bronze foundry. TIG welding and assembly of bronze sculpture.
Production Manager at John Burford Tool Corporation, Austin, TX. (April 1997 to August 1997). Manage production for power tool manufacturer. Supervision of shop personnel. Production scheduling and facility design for production of pneumatic wire tie tool. Preparation of bids, mechanical design, and production of High End Systems vacuum chamber.
Mechanical Designer at APV Ice Cream, Austin, TX. (February 1994 to April 1997). Design of industrial machinery for ice cream novelty production. Machines consisted of conveyor, extruder and freezer equipment. Design and drafting of specialty sub-assemblies.
